PROJECT SNAPSHOT...
|
Welcome to the Denver Federal Center Utilities Infrastructure ProjectThe Denver Federal Center Utilities Infrastructure Project includes the installation of water distribution systems, sanitary sewer and storm lines, and electrical distribution lines. Rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer lines will be accomplished through both the cure-in-place and pipe-bursting processes. There will be approximately 21 miles of new and improved utilities on the project. The Denver Federal Center Utilities Infrastructure Project also includes the construction of a new cast-in-place pump house, water storage reservoir, new road construction, and the demolition of two existing structures. The 3,150 SF, metal-frame pump house will include CMU walls with a brick veneer exterior. It will contain 7 pumps, a generator, and an electrical room.
PROJECT SAFETY MESSAGESafety continues to be a major focus for the project team on the DFC Utilities Infrastructure Project. It is of upmost importance that all construction signage is followed and that tenants never walk into a barricaded work zone. In order to fully understand where construction volumes are high at any particular time, a map will be created each month. This map will depict the areas where heightened tenant awareness is necessary to ensure the safety of all users of the facility.
